Andy Edwards

With £10 in my pocket I set out to buy a film and a camera on Town Street, then wander around Armley for a couple of hours. The only camera I found came from the YMCA shop, was bright red and cost £1.50.
Anywhere can be engrossing. Next time, get off the bus a few stops early and walk home by a different route. Here I've intentionally behaved like a tourist; to be bemused, amused, lost, always fascinated and not even knowing if the camera worked. These photos are selected in triptychs, linking formal themes and narratives.
