When making this work, my intention was to move beyond the visual clichés often employed to depict homeless people and their experiences. Instead, my photographs explore the city of Leeds at twilight; witnessing the sites most frequented by those sleeping rough, the images offer an insight into the vulnerability and discomfort faced by people living on the streets. This work was produced in collaboration with St George' s Crypt homeless shelter.
